Very ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes, the myFuge is extremely easy to use, you just simply close the lid and the rotor system will instantly start, the rotor speed reaches up to 6000 rpm. It has an eight-position microtube rotor and also included a second rotor with increased capacity for four 0.2ml PCR strips (about 32 x 0.2ml tubes) which are stored or installed (together with the rotor removal key) in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge. This compartment is also used for securing the included tube adapters for 0.5ml tubes. When the rotor is not in use, storage in this compartment prevents loss or misplacement of the rotor.
The myFuge mini centrifuge has an updated and advanced rotor system called Clik-N-Lok which can eliminate the requirement for set screws and tools during rotor exchange. The process is so simple, you can just simply remove and attach rotors by hand, and then pull or press the rotor onto the motor shaft.
